šŸ”® Crypto ideas for 2023

& our new favorite tools

GM everyone. This is 2036, the newsletter that pays you.

Today is Favorite Friday, the day we share with you some of the resources we most enjoyed this week.

So if you're looking for great content to dig into this weekend, this is your list...

#1: Marc Andreessen on Crypto & The Future

Marc Andreessen is a bit of a legend in technology. He is the founder of the Netscape browser, which sold for $4.3 billion in 1999. It made the Internet widely accessible to the rest of us mortals.

He then went on to sell another company for $1.6 billion and then - because that just wasn't enough - created the largest venture capital firm in the world, a16z, which he still runs today.

We can all agree that he's kind of a badass.

This week, he had a great interview where he talked about crypto, AI, capitalism and managing life regrets. Check it out.

If you want to learn more about him, Marc Andreesen is a fascinating character to dive into.

He recently published his latest book list.

His essay, "Why Software is Eating the World" is an absolute classic in Silicon Valley - and a highly recommend read.

And here's the book he describes as the most underrated of the last 30 years.

#2: How The 'Magic The Gathering' Color Wheel Explains Humanity

I spent waaaay too much time this week diving into this article - one of the best I've ever read.

If you want to better understand yourself and see whether you (or others!) are more like Gandalf, Thor, Superman or Marge Simpson - you're gonna love this article:

#3: The All-In Podcast

A lot of you might already know this one, but in case you don't... it's the best podcast out there. Period.

3 billionaires and a centimillionaire discuss all things technology, crypto, politics, science, macro - you name it.

It's brilliant. I hardly ever miss an episode. Here's this week's:

#4: Crypto & AI tools

If you're looking to keep up with DeFi & crypto in general - check out:

And if you're wondering how you can create images like these in your spare time - check out Midjourney:

Midjourney is a discord server and the easiest way I've found to make incredible pictures using A.I.

#5: And finally, a couple of Tweets we found interesting:

And that's a wrap!

I hope this email gave you some valuable resources to dig through this weekend.

The paid tasks will resume on Monday.

In the meantime, have a fantastic weekend.
