What we most enjoyed this week

What’s the greatest thing in crypto?

A new Arthur Hayes essay.

What’s an absolute drop-everything-you’re-doing thing in crypto?

A new Arthur Hayes video.

Arthur typically writes banger essays. But he recently spoke at the world’s largest crypto conference. And he brought his A-game 🏅

He breaks down:

  • Why the next bull market could be the biggest since World War 2 (two simultaneous bull markets will take place: one in liquidity, one in technology)

  • Why AI will need crypto

  • What shitcoin he’s buying to profit from this trend

… all in 15 min.

In his talk above, Arthur references the recipe for GDP growth: population growth + productivity + debt growth.

And who did he get it from? Raoul Pal.

Raoul Pal just wrapped up a 2-week video series on how to profit from the upcoming crash or boom.

The whole thing is behind a paywall, but the summary is free on YouTube.

It’s like we can’t disconnect AI from crypto anymore…

And the biggest AI news this week besides ChatGPT being connected to the Internet was Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta presentation:

Meta held an event this week to introduce a bunch of new products and features.

Like an Apple Event - but for Meta.

You can find the full thing here.

Here’s the 10-minute summary. And here’s the 2-minute snippet of the coolest moment.

They announced the new Meta Quest 3 - a virtual reality headset.

But they also released the latest version of their RayBan Augmented Reality (AR) glasses.

Robert Scoble, one of the biggest voices in technology, thinks we’ll all be wearing these glasses within 3-10 years.

No matter what you think of Zuckerberg - the guy’s making moves.

Meta is one the last major tech companies that’s founder-led.

And if you want the full breakdown from Mark himself, this week, he also did the first-ever podcast interview in the Metaverse…

You gotta watch this - even for just a few minutes.

It is incredibly realistic. Mark and Lex appear almost real.

This could be the next iteration of the Metaverse.
