👀 Polygon's new airdrop

Airdrops are how crypto protocols reward their earliest active users with free tokens. We’ve explained this in detail before.

In exchange for being active on the network, users can claim hundreds, thousands - or millions of dollars - in free tokens when they drop.

And an established player has entered the arena: Polygon.

Polygon ($MATIC) is already one of the biggest blockchains in the world. They’ve raised $450 MILLION from VCs.

They’re like the cool kid of crypto. I met the founder at a crypto event once, and he wore flip-flops - Mark Zuckerberg style.

Polygon recently released a scalability solution called zkEVM, which helps complete fast off-chain transactions.

And the Polygon founder has hinted that it could prime for a massive token airdrop:

Given Polygon’s size, this is one you likely won’t want to miss.

So here’s how you qualify for the upcoming token airdrop…

Step 1: Head to this Chainlist link and add Polygon zkEVM to your Metamask (if you don’t already have Metamask, check yesterday’s task…)

Step 2: Bridge ETH over to Polygon zkEVM using the native bridge.

Step 3: Head over to Quickswap and swap some ETH for USDC, and then back again.

Our goal is to increase the number of transactions, not to make money. The network just needs to see you are active.

Step 4: Bridge your ETH back from Polygon zkEVM to Ethereum using Orbiter.

And voila.

Do this once a week, and you’ll most likely qualify for the airdrop.

The more active you are and the higher amounts you move around, the bigger your airdrop will be.
