PLUS: The Big 4 NFTs

GM everyone. This is 2036. We scroll for gems all day so you don’t have to.

Today is Favorite Friday, where we serve up the resources we most enjoyed this week 🍲.

So if you're looking for content to dig into this weekend, this is your list...

Great books on crypto are exceedingly rare. But this is one of them.

This book has kept me up more evenings this week than I’d like to admit.

Going forward, it’s the #1 book I’ll recommend to people who want to learn about crypto, web3 and blockchains in general.

Read Write Own was written by Chris Dixon, a partner at a16z. He’s one of the clearest thinkers on the subject.

In the book, Chris discusses why we need blockchains, why they matter, how they work, and what areas of crypto he’s most optimistic about.

Chris slices the subject differently than anyone I’ve come across.

2/ Chris Dixon podcast tour

Chris Dixon was on the Tim Ferriss Podcast with Naval Ravikant two years ago. They discussed Web3 & NFTs in general.

It is an excellent interview, and I recommend everyone listen to it (link here).

More recently, he was on Gary Vee, David Perell, and The Network State podcast with avalanches of insights.

NFTs are one of my highest conviction bets for the tail end of the cycle.

And if you’re still on the fence about them, I recommend you quickly go through the slides of the free course on NFTs & Metaverse by Nicosia University.

The course is taught by real OGs in the space, and it’s 100% free.

At the link, under the heading ‘previous semesters,’ you can download the slides of the lessons.

I’ll cover more NFT opportunities as we get further into the current 4-year cycle.
