📝 The next Solana airdrops

GM everyone. This is 2036. We scroll for gems all day so you don’t have to.

Here’s what we’re serving up today 🍲: last week, almost 10,000 users of Jito, a Solana protocol, received $10K+ in airdrops each 👀 Here are the protocols airdropping next.

We’ve talked about airdrops before - here, here and here.

Many new crypto projects raise VC funding and use part of the money to incentivize adoption.

In exchange for using protocols early, crypto users are rewarded with free crypto tokens transferred to their wallets. No, it’s not a scam, and no, you don’t have to pay for these tokens.

All you need is curiosity and time - which is why airdrops are hugely popular in crypto. Some savvy users are making 5, 6, or 7-figures a year.

This week, 9,852 Jito users made between $9,800 and $208,000 from an airdrop.

All you had to do to receive nearly $10K was to play around with $40 of SOL.

And the Solana airdrop season is probably just getting started.

So here are a few of the top airdrops on Solana we’re paying attention to…

1/ Marginfi 🏦

Marginfi is a lending and borrowing protocol on Solana.

They’re likely going to drop a token, and all you have to do to qualify is to follow a few simple steps:

• Connect your Phantom wallet to marginfi and make sure you are on the Lend mode (check the top left of the screen. ‘Lend’ is the default mode)

• Choose the asset you want to supply (only the assets you have in your wallet will be available to supply)

• Input the amount and click ‘supply’

• Voila

You will earn 1 point per $1 per day lent… and 4 points in the same period for borrowing.

2/ Tensor 🖼️

This one is for all my NFT lovers out there.

Tensor is an NFT marketplace on Solana.

I’ve mentioned this a few times - Solana NFTs are doing more volume than Ethereum NFTs today.

As the Solana ecosystem grows, some NFTs will become highly valuable - just like the CryptoPunks or Bored Apes did on Ethereum.

In the process, some NFT marketplaces will capture part of that upside.

Right now, Solana NFTs are still cheap compared to Ethereum NFTs.

And that’s a good thing because to qualify for the Tensor airdrop, all you have to do is:

• List NFTs for sale (meaning you have to purchase them first, too)

• If you’re feeling frisky, purchase a Tensorian

There are some rules: to qualify for the airdrop, the NFTs you list must be in the top 100 collections. The more you list and for longer - the more points you earn.

3/ Jupiter

Jupiter is a decentralized exchange on Solana. In total, they’ll be taking four snapshots to determine how many airdropped tokens each user will get.

The first snapshot was taken recently. But there are still three more to go.

To qualify, simply:

• Head over to Jupiter

• Start swapping assets

You’ll probably increase your odds of receiving a large airdrop by increasing your transaction volume and frequency. So swap back and forth, friends.
