PLUS: The 3rd largest crypto gaming play...

GM everyone. This is 2036. We scroll for gems all day so you don’t have to.

Today is Favorite Friday, where we serve up the resources we most enjoyed this week 🍲.

So if you're looking for content to dig into this weekend, this is your list...

I don’t listen to many crypto podcasts anymore. But this one was really good.

If you want an overview of:

  • the current macro climate

  • where crypto is likely going next

  • the best bets for each major ecosystem (BTC, ETH & SOL)

… then you’ll want to give it a listen.

Highly recommended.

This is one I didn’t expect. Jeff Bezos generally doesn’t do podcasts. So it’s rare to get an unfiltered glimpse into how he thinks.

But this week, he was on the Lex Friedman podcast.

The conversation is great. Jeff Bezos is one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time, and spending 2 hours listening to this will undoubtedly be a good use of your time.

Amazon’s story is fascinating.

During the dotcom bubble, Amazon stock lost -95% of its value.

Naturally, a lot of people got scared. It took the stock 7 years to recover.

But it was a great asset to own.

And in hindsight, the drop was just a blip on the screen. Even if you bought at the top in 1999, you’d still be up over 30X today if you had just held.

We can draw similar parallels with Bitcoin.

Yes, Bitcoin’s volatile.

But if you zoom out and focus on the long-term, it’s been up-only for 14 years.

Jeff Bezos wrote in his 1997 letter to shareholders:

“This is Day 1 for the Internet. It's All About the Long Term.”

And that’s where crypto is today as well.

Any dips or small moves higher don’t really matter. We’re just at the beginning of a long-term trend.

Back in 1997, the Internet already had more users than crypto does today. Of course, it only grew exponentially bigger.

We’re still so early.

In 30 years, whether you bought bitcoin at $38,000 or $43,000 won’t matter at all.

What will matter is that you own at least some.

And if you want another reason to believe it’s Day 1 in crypto - read Amazon’s 1997 Letter to Shareholders.

Here’s how you can get a free crypto phone:

  • the Solana Saga phone comes with 30M $BONK tokens airdropped to all buyers ($BONK is a memecoin on Solana)

  • When it was first announced, the $BONK airdrop was worth $10.

  • Today, the same $BONK airdrop is worth $877.

  • In other words - your airdrop more than pays for the phone.

You can buy the phone here.
